Carte-blanche motion design on a tight turnaround of only a few days. The package included key art, interstitials, sponsorship graphics, and winner and finalist lower thirds elements across a number of design categories.
Faced with a short turnaround and time-poor collaborators, an initial meeting set the scope and allowed for rapid blue-sky of initial pitches that allowed us to quickly agree upon a design direction that extended existing motifs present in the client’s logo and web design where impactful use of primary colour and simple geometry imply the fundamentals of craft that all designers wield. With this in mind, the idea of authorial voice became my driving design goal – rippling through the creative process to bring form forth from nothing.
